An Impossible Marriage

Once upon a time, a man and a woman from two feuding villages fell in love. Forbidden to marry, they committed suicide, pledging to marry in the next life. Various disasters began taking place as a result of their unfortunate fates, and the people in the two villages began offering a man and a woman for holy matrimony to comfort the souls of the sad couple. And, thus, they had continued to avoid calamities for generations... Momoki Shirakawa is told about this unbelievable legend and becomes a bride, expected to marry Chikage Kurotaki from the neighboring village.
