For Ibuki Tonami, drinking alcohol is her favorite way to unwind from her college studies and duties as her dormitory's resident assistant. However, due to past bad experiences with others, Ibuki feels insecure about the hiccups she gets when drinking and therefore only drinks alone. But as first-year student Botan Kamiina moves into the same dormitory, things begin to change. During an outing with their dormmates, Botan coincidentally spots Ibuki drinking by herself. Although she has never tried alcohol before, Botan is curious about Ibuki and her drink. Ibuki willingly shares her drink, and it turns out that drinking alcohol turns the usually well-mannered, cheerful Botan into an assertive flirt. The other residents of their dormitory are shocked to discover that the withdrawn Ibuki has started drinking with Botan.
